Ahmet Erdinç (born December 3, 1965 in Kütahya ) is a former Turkish soccer player and current coach.
Player career
society
Ahmet Erdinç learned to play football in the youth of various amateur teams in his home province of Kütahya . From the late 1980s he played as a professional player for the then third division club TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor . After working here until the summer of 1993, he moved to TKİ Soma Linyitspor . For this club he played five seasons and was hired in 1998 at Ispartaspor . After one and a half years for Ispartaspor, he was loaned to Soma Linyitspor for the second half of the 1999/00 season and moved to this club in the summer of 2000, including transfer. After he was active here for a few seasons, he ended his active career as a football player.
As a coaching career
Following his playing career, he decided to start a coaching career. His first job was in 2007 as a youth coach at Tavşanlı Linyitspor . He stayed in this position until spring 2012. He then became the assistant coach of Cengiz Seçsev , who was also newly introduced as the head coach of the professional team. He stayed in this position for a few months and returned to his old position after Seçsev resigned in March 2012.
After the head coach of the professionals, Levent Devrim , left the club after the sixth match day of the 2012/13 season, Erdinç was introduced as his successor on an interim basis. After about a week he handed over the coaching position to the new head coach Hasan Sarı .
