Levent Devrim (born August 26, 1969 in İskenderun ) is a former Turkish soccer player and current soccer coach.

Player career

Devrim began professional football with the first division side Konyaspor . Here he came in his first season, the 1990/91 season, to four league appearances. He increased this number of stakes in the next two seasons. After Konyaspor missed relegation at the end of the season 1. Lig 1992/93 , Devrim moved to the first division Kayserispor . Here he fought for a regular position straight away and was a top performer during his two years of activity. At Kayserispor he was known under the name Küçük Levent ( Little Levent ). At that time, it was common in Turkish football to distinguish namesakes within a team with the adjective big and small, as soccer players were generally only mentioned by their first name. Since Levent Kurt was already an older player at Kayserispor, he was referred to as Büyük Levent ( Great Levent ) and Levent Devrim as Küçük Levent .

In the 1995/96 season he moved to the traditional club Bursaspor . Devrim only played one season at Bursaspor and then returned to the now second-rate Kayserispor . With this club he reached the runner-up in the TFF 1st Lig and thus direct promotion to the Süper Lig . After a season in the Süper Lig, the club rose again to the second division. Devrim stayed loyal to the club and went with the team in the 1st league. In the 1998/99 season he stood out with scoring qualities and was the most successful shooter of his team with 16 hits.

During the season he moved to his former club Konyaspor and played a season here. After he worked for Çanakkale Dardanelspor in the seasons 2000-2003 , ended his active career in the summer of 2003.

Coaching career

After his active career, he decided to become a football coach. His first activity was the assistant coaching position at Tarsus İdman Yurdu . In the following seasons he took over the same position at Eskişehirspor and Çanakkale Dardanelspor . In the summer of 2006 he rose to head coach at Dardanelspor.

The following seasons he was active in various clubs in the lower Turkish leagues. From winter 2009 to spring 2011 he coached the second division Kayseri Erciyesspor .

In mid-March 2012 he took over the relegation-threatened second division club TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor and confidently secured relegation with him. After a 1: 2 home defeat on the 6th match day of the 2012/13 season against Kayseri Erciyesspor , he dissolved his contract by mutual agreement with the club's management and thus parted ways with Tavşanlı Linyitspor.

At the beginning of November 2014 he was introduced as the new head coach at the second division club Orduspor . After the 10th day of play, he resigned from his position.
