action

When the little tailor kills seven flies at once, he sets off into the big wide world with a scarf with the inscription "Seven in one go", accompanied by his little bird, to boast of his deed.

On his journey, the brave little tailor learns of two giants who are threatening the city. The brave little tailor presents the giant as proof of his ability to squeeze water out of a stone by hand. The brave little tailor is secretly squeezing an old piece of cheese that he took with him from home, and the giants who were unable to do so admire his heroism.

The giants escort the little tailor into their cave. Before the giants can attack him there, the tailor manages to get the two giants to disempower themselves on their own. In the city, a shepherd brings the message to the whole city, making the tailor the hero of the city. The king promises him half the kingdom and the princess as a reward.

The king's councils see him only as a deceiver. When a huge wild boar threatens the kingdom, the brave little tailor sets off again. He also solves this task with flying colors: He lets the wild boar run into a church and lock it up there. The king then sees that the little tailor deserves his respect and agrees to a wedding with his daughter, the princess.

criticism

"A retelling of Grimm's fairy tale produced for children's film screenings, too simple and transparent in design."
