Ahn Sang-soo (* 1952 in Chungju ) is a South Korean graphic designer and typographer .

His work as a graphic artist is characterized by formally minimalist references to the Korean landscape and mainly includes poster designs and books. Ahn became known as the innovator of the traditional Hangeul script, for which he designed several character sets.

In 2007 Ahn Sang-soo was awarded the Gutenberg Prize of the City of Leipzig . In Klingspor Museum , a retrospective was held in April 2008 his works.
