Lutz Ahnfeld

Lutz Ahnfeld (born February 19, 1958 in Rostock ) was a member of the FDJ in the People's Chamber of the German Democratic Republic .

Life

After attending high school, the son of an engineer and a midwife completed an apprenticeship as a skilled worker for wood technology in the Ribnitz-Damgarten furniture combine and then worked as a skilled worker in the same company. On October 17, 1976 he was elected a member of the People's Chamber . He was the youngest member of the People's Chamber. There he was a member of the parliamentary group of the Free German Youth (FDJ) until the end of the electoral term on March 10, 1990 . From 1976 to 1979 he did voluntary service in the NVA and became a member of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED) during his military service in 1977 . He did his military service as a non-commissioned officer in the "Heinrich Rau" fighter wing . At the beginning of October 1981 he was awarded the Artur Becker Gold Medal by Egon Krenz . In 1981, after a brief job as a concrete worker, he returned to the Ribnitz-Damgarten furniture combine, where he worked as a machine operator and, since 1984, as a shift supervisor. After attending the Rostock district party school in 1982/83, he became APO secretary of the SED in the VEB fiberboard factory in Ribnitz-Damgarten in 1983 . From 1986 to 1989 he was the deputy of the FDJ parliamentary group chairman in the People's Chamber. On November 12, 1989, the FDJ parliamentary group elected him to succeed Hans-Joachim Willerding as the new chairman. On February 22nd, 1990, he was elected deputy chairman of the GDR electoral commission to prepare for the 1990 Volkskammer election, and thus deputy to Petra Bläss .

After the German reunification , he became head of the Binz youth hostel on the island of Rügen in 1992 .
