The Ahse nature reserve north of Lohne is located in the municipality of Bad Sassendorf in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
It extends north directly to Lohne , a district of Bad Sassendorf. The Ahse , a left tributary of the Lippe, flows through the area . The state road L 688 runs to the west and the L 856 to the south.
