Aida Yasuaki
Aida Yasuaki ( Japanese 会 田 安明 ; * February 10, 1747 in Yamagata , † October 26, 1817 in Edo , today Tokyo ), or Aida Ammei (the Sino-Japanese reading of his name), was a Japanese mathematician.
Aida grew up in Yamagata in the north of Honshū and went to Edo , today's Tokyo, in 1769 to work for the Shogun . In 1788, Aida Yasuaki Sampo Tenshi Shinan published a book on geometric problems. He also worked in the field of number theory and improved to Seki Takakazu declining methods for the treatment of continued fractions .
