Aigle (daughter of Helios)

Aigle ( Greek  Αἴγλη ) is a figure in Greek mythology .

Aigle was one of the daughters of the sun god Helios , the so-called Heliaden . Her mother was either the Oceanid Klymene or Rhode . She and her sisters were transformed into poplars after the death of their brother Phaeton , whom they mourned too much .
