Aime Kuulbusch

Aime Kuulbusch (born October 10, 1942 in Pärnu ) is an Estonian sculptor .

Life

Aime Kuulbusch graduated in 1969 from the State Art Institute of the Estonian SSR ( Estonian ENSV Riiklik Kunstiinstituut ). She has been working as a freelance sculptor since 1973.

Aime Kuulbusch is best known for her busts , reliefs and monuments of famous Estonian personalities, including Juhan Viiding (1976), Malle Leis (1979), Tiit Pääsuke (1982), Mart Saar (1982), Peeter Süda (1983), Cyrillus Kreek (1989), Paul Kondas (2007) and for their commissioned portraits of important scientists from the Tallinn University of Technology . The Seebeck monument she created in 2013 is also located there . In addition, she created various monumental sculptures in Estonia .

The clear, classic form of her works is characteristic.

For her artistic work Aime Kuulbusch u. a. 1983 awarded the Kristjan Raud Prize . In 1984 she received the title of "Honored Artist of the Estonian SSR".

Aime Kuulbusch was married to the Estonian sculptor Ants Mölder (1939–2009).
