Air Corridor was a Mozambican airline based in Nampula , where it also had its home base at Nampula Airport .

history

The airline was founded in 2004 and started operations with a Boeing 737 in August of the same year . Air Corridor was entirely privately owned. For security reasons, it was strictly forbidden for US government officials to fly with this airline until February 2007 . Air Corridor has not operated any flight services since 2008 as all aircraft in Johannesburg have been decommissioned due to security issues. Aeronexus , the company responsible for the repair, informed the Mozambican Aviation Authority that the airline has no records of routine maintenance. Air Corridor was supposed to resume flight operations in February 2008, but it didn't. Furthermore, the managers from Mozambique have moved out.

aims

Air Corridor only flew to national destinations from Nampula .
