The Aire coutumière Iaai (in the native language: Iaaï ) is an administrative unit of a special form ( Aire coutumière ) in the French overseas department of New Caledonia . It was founded on March 19, 1999 and comprises a municipality on the islands of Faiava, Mouli, Ouvéa and Unyee. 25 Kanak tribes are registered in Iaai .
