Airy is an impact crater in the southern plateau of the moon . It is the furthest south in a chain of craters formed by Vogel , Argelander and Airy craters . A little further south is the Donati crater .

Airy has a worn, polygonal edge that has broken open on the north and south sides. Its crater floor is irregularly structured and has a central elevation.
