Aisling Loftus

Aisling Loftus (born September 1, 1990 in Nottingham , Nottinghamshire ) is a British actress .

Life

Aisling Loftus, the daughter of Irish parents, had her first appearances in television productions since she was ten. She played the title role in the short film Jade , which was awarded the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2009 . The following year she had a leading role alongside Emily Watson and Hugo Weaving in Oranges and Sunshine , as well as a year later in Tom Harper's The Fantastic World of Borger with the role of the Arrietty Clock . From 2013 to 2015 she starred as Agnes Towler in the British television series Mr Selfridge .
