Aitana Casulin

Aitana Kasulin is an Argentinian composer and music teacher.

Kasulin was a student of the Bulgarian pianist Sneyana Zajarieva from 1983 to 1989 . In 1990 she attended a workshop for young composers with Gerardo Gandini , Mariano Etkin and Marta Lambertini at the music camp in Bariloche and a course in contemporary composition technique with Francisco Kröpfl organized by the Fundación Antorchas and the Ricordi publishing house . In 1992 she attended a composition course from Cristóbal Halffter in Santiago de Compostela and took part in the Darmstadt summer courses .

From 1991 to 1993 Kasulin taught at the Escuela de Bellas Artes in Quilmes, then until 1995 at the Sindicato Argentino de Músicos School (SADEM) and at the Provincial Conservatory of Tandil. At the Universidad Nacional de Quilmes she taught aural training, style and orchestration from 1992 to 2004, at the Conservatory of Buenos Aires from 2002 to 2011 harmony and form, analysis and counterpoint and at the Instituto Universitario Nacional de Arte (IUNA) from 2009 to 2011 counterpoint and harmony.
