Aitor Canca Fernández (born November 30, 1982 in Málaga ) is a Spanish volleyball player .

Career

Canca Fernández started his career in 2000 in his hometown with PTV Telecom Málaga. With the club he played in 2000/01 and 2001/02 each in the CEV Cup and in the 2002/03 season in the Champions League . In addition, the middle blocker reached the Spanish Cup final three times in a row with Málaga. In 2005 he moved to CV Melilla . A year later he returned home and played for Uma Probisa Málaga. In 2008/09 he was active at CV Vigo Valery Karpin. In 2009 Canca Fernández moved to the Belgian league to VC Axis Shanks Guibertin . The following season he played for Nancy Volley in France . In 2011 he first went back to Vigo, before joining the Algerian club NR Bordj Bou Arreridj for a few more months in 2012, where he won the national cup. The 2012/13 season was the second time the Spaniard played in Mont-Saint-Guibert. He was then signed by the German Bundesliga club TV Rottenburg .
