Akemi Misawa

Akemi Misawa ( Jap. 三沢あけみ , Misawa Akemi ; * 2. June 1945 in Ina ) is a Japanese Enka - singer and actress .

Career

At the age of 14, Misawa Akemi became the new name of the Tōei film company at the same time as the actresses Junko Miyazono and Yuriko Mishima were there. Her first appearance was in the Dorama Fuefuki Dōji ( 笛 吹 童子 , "The young wind instrument player") produced by NET . The next year she made her film debut in Jidai-geki .

In 1963 she made her debut as a singer in the Furare Jōzu ni Hore Jōzu produced by Victor Entertainment ( ふ ら れ 上手 に 惚 れ 上手 , "Cleverly rejected, cleverly in love"). In 1963 she was awarded the Japan Record Award for the newcomer of the year for the song Shima no Blues ( 島 の ブ ル ー ス , shima no burūsu , "island blues "), which soon became a hit.

Although she left Tōei to devote herself to the profession of singer, she also appeared in drama and films. After feeling that her career as a singer had reached a dead end with her marriage, she divorced and came back as a singer . She made her comeback in 1979 with the song Wakare Sake ( わ か れ 酒 , "Farewell Sake "), which soon became a hit. Shortly thereafter, Koishikute ( 恋 し く て , “to be loved ”), Wataridori ( 渡 り 鳥 , “migratory bird”) and other hits. Akemi Misawa has enjoyed constant popularity so far.
