Aki Matsuhashi ( Japanese 松 橋 亜 希 , Matsuhashi Aki ; born October 6, 1992 in Kazuno ) is a Japanese ski jumper .

Career

Matsuhashi made her international debut on March 2, 2008 as part of the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . On the Zaō-Schanze in Yamagata , with places 27 and 29, she immediately jumped into the points on the following day. A year later she was able to win on the same hill with places 27 and 22 points. Despite this renewed success, she only started on this hill in 2010. In 2011 she made it into the top 20 for the first time.

In February 2012 she started for the first time outside of Yamagata at FIS jumping in Sapporo . After two good top 10 placements, she made her debut outside of Japan in September 2012. In Lillehammer , she achieved significant points gains in summer jumping with places 19 and 26. On February 2, 2013, she was finally part of the starting field for the Ski Jumping World Cup in Sapporo. She won a World Cup point in the first competition. In her second event in Yamagata, she just missed the points as 33rd. At the end of the season, with one point, she finished 54th in the overall standings, tied with her compatriot Yoshiko Kasai .
