Akira Kubo
Akira Kubo ( Japanese 久保 明 , Kubo Akira , real name: Yasuyoshi Yamauchi ( 山 内 康 儀 ); born December 1, 1936 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese actor who has starred in numerous Japanese kaijū films by the Japanese production company Tōhō .
Career
Akira Kubo began his acting career in 1952. At the age of eleven, he had already taken on minor roles. He became known for his roles in three Godzilla films. He played the journalist Tetsuo Teri in Orders from the Dark (1965), Gorō Maki in Frankenstein's Monsters Chasing Godzilla's Son (1967) and Captain Kazuo Yamabe in Frankenstein and the Monsters from Outer Space (1968).
