The Akkuratnaya Cove ( English ; Russian Бухта Аккуратная Buchta Akkuratnaja , German 'Exact Bay' ) is a small bay on the Princess Astrid coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located 5 km east-northeast of Nadezhdy Island and extends to the northern flank of the Schirmacher Oasis .
The first aerial photographs were taken during the German Antarctic Expedition (1938–1939). The bay was mapped and named in 1961 by participants in the Seventh Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1961–1963).
