al-Jubaiha , also written Jubaiha ( Arabic الجبيهة, DMG al-Ǧubaiha ), is a city in Amman Governorate in Jordan . The city is also one of the 27 districts of the Greater Amman municipality with around 4 million inhabitants. The city had a population of 197,160 in 2015.

The city is located northwest of the city center of Amman and borders in the west on the governorate of al-Balqa .

Jubaiha is home to various educational institutions, including the Royal Scientific Society , the University of Jordan and the German-Jordanian University . The city is also home to the headquarters of the Jordanian Ministry of Education.
