The al-Futowa SC ( Arabic نادي الفتوة, DMG Nādī al-Futuwwa ) is a sports club from Deir ez-Zor in Syria . The men's soccer team currently plays in the country's highest league, the Syrian professional league. The club plays its home games in the Al Baladi Stadium. The two-time football champion was founded in 1950. In addition to the two championships, the club was also able to win the Syrian Cup four times in a row. In 2008 the team finished the season in 6th place in the league.
Before a team game in Qamishli on March 12, 2004, there were clashes between the fans of both teams, which triggered the unrest in Qamishli in 2004 .
