Ala ( Belarusian. Ала; also called Oła ) is a left tributary of the Bjaresina in the Homelskaja Woblasz in Belarus . The river begins 1.2 km west of the village of Wilenka and flows through the Shlobin Raion and the Babruysk Raion , among others .

The region is best known for the village of the same name on the river, in which 1758 people were killed by German soldiers on January 14, 1944.
