Alabak Island (English; Bulgarian остров Алабак ostrow Alabak ) is an east-west 1.35 km long and 0.67 km wide, mostly icy and hilly island in the Barilari Bay on the Graham coast of Graham Land in the Antarctic Peninsula . It is separated from the Velingrad Peninsula by a 500 m wide strait 4.74 km southeast of Vorweg Point and 11.15 km southwest of Duyvis Point .
British scientists mapped it in 1971. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2014 after a mountain ridge in southern Bulgaria .
