The Alabama State Route 27 (abbreviated AL 27 ) is a state highway in the US state of Alabama , which runs north-south direction.

The State Route begins on Florida State Road 185 south of Geneva and ends 113 kilometers in Abbeville on Alabama State Route 10 .

The AL 27 runs from the Florida border south of Geneva in a northerly direction and meets State Routes 52 , 85 and 196 in Geneva . She reaches the greater Enterprise area after crossing the Alabama State Route 192 , a bypass of the city. In the center, the AL 27 meets the US Highway 84 and the Alabama State Routes 88 , 134 and 248 . The road leaves the city towards the northeast and then passes through Fort Rucker .

East of the fort, Alabama State Route 27 meets the city of Ozark and US Highway 231 and State Routes 53 , 105, and 249 . From Ozark it leads in an easterly direction through the towns of Ewell and Echo . Alabama State Route 173 branches off south of Abbeville and US Highway 431 is crossed. In the center of Abbeville, AL 27 ends on State Route 10.
