The primary school building in Cornol, a small school completed in 1965, is an exposed concrete building a work of brutalism ; the vertical walls and the cove-shaped, horizontal ceiling panels structure the building, in which the gym and class wing are L-shaped to one another, creating a linear supporting structure experiences interesting change. The Collège Stockmar in Porrentruy also shows a lot of exposed concrete, combined with red clinker surfaces. The generous traffic areas, which take up almost as much space as the tiered classrooms, serve as traffic zones.

In the 1970s, the Biel State Seminar was created, three steel / glass cubes on a shared platform made of exposed concrete and class wing 2 of the trade school there, a cautiously detailed work closely related to the Solothurn school, for example .

The 1980s found an approach to a classicist-oriented postmodernism , for example in the Sägematt retirement and nursing home in Lengnau or at the secondary school in Porrentruy.
