Alain Guerreau
Alain Guerreau (* 1948 in Mâcon ) is a French medieval historian and author.
From 1967 to 1971 he studied at the École nationale des chartes , the Sorbonne and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales . Guerreau was a student of Jacques Le Goff , Bernard Guenée (* 1927), Jean Favier and Maurice Godelier . Since 1978 he has been a researcher at the CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research). From 2002 to 2007 he taught statistics for historians at the École nationale des chartes. He has published five books and about a hundred articles in the field of general medieval history.
