Alain Knuser (born December 7, 1994 ) is a Swiss bobsleigh athlete and kickboxer .

Career

By 2015 Knuser had completed national and international competitions in light contact kickboxing . In the 2013/14 season he became Swiss champion in the weight class up to 81 kg. A year earlier had finished third. In the World Cup he reached third place in the 80+ class.

Bobsleigh

Knuser found bobsleigh in 2015. In the spring he was signed by the Clemens Bracher bobsleigh team as a pusher. In the first 2015/16 season they competed in the entire European Cup. In the 2016/2017 season, in addition to the European Cup, the debut in the World Cup followed and the qualification for the 2017 World Championship in Königssee , where Knuser and Clemens Bracher as a pilot achieved 22nd place in the four-man bobsleigh.

At the start-up Swiss championships in 2017, Knuser and his team-mate Marco Dörig won the junior Swiss championship title.
