Alan Glynn

Alan Glynn (* 1960 in Dublin ) is an Irish writer , some of his works are attributed to cyberpunk .

Life

Alan Glynn was born in 1960 in the north of Dublin in the Drumcondra district. He first attended the private Jesuit Belvedere College in Dublin and later studied English literature at Trinity College there . He later spent four years in New York working for magazines, mainly as a proofreader. After living in Verona for a while and working as an English teacher and journalist in Italy, Glynn now lives again in Dublin, in the Terenure district.

Alan Glynn is married and has two sons.

His first novel "Stoff" (original title: The Dark Fields) was filmed for the cinema in 2011 by Neil Burger under the title Limitless . The German film title is Ohne Limit .
