Alan Yarrow

Sir Alan Colin Drake Yarrow (* 27. June 1951 ) is a British specialist in investment banking and since 2009 Chairman of the Professional Association of Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

He worked for Dresdner Kleinwort for 37 years until 2009 , most recently as a member of the board.

Since July 24, 2007 Yarrow is an older man of the City of London and was in the years 2011/12 he was Sheriff of London .

In 2014 he was elected Lord Mayor of London for a one-year term , taking office on November 7, 2014. One day after the swearing in, he traditionally took part as Lord Mayor in a parade called “Lord Mayor's Show”.

Awards

He has received several awards over the course of his career. Since 2010 he is a member ( Fellow ) Honorary ( Hon. FCSI ) of the "Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment UK". He has been a lay brother ( Serving Brother ) of the British Order of Saint John since 2012 , and in 2014 he was promoted to Knight of Justice (KStJ) by this order . In 2015 he was also awarded the Cross of the Order of the Aztec Eagle . On December 31, 2015, he was beaten to the Knight Bachelor .
