life and career
Seeley started motocross at an early age before temporarily losing interest in motorsport as a teenager. After finishing school, he completed an apprenticeship as a car mechanic. At the age of 21, he began taking part in circuit races in his native Northern Ireland. From 2002 his successes increased. In 2004 he was able to win the Irish Supersport Championship for the first time . In the same year he was noticed outside of Ireland for the first time, as he won two races in the British Superbike Championship. Also in 2004 he took part in the North West 200 for the first time. He was able to win this road race more often than any other driver (as of 2018).
In 2007 he moved to Great Britain to focus more on British racing series. So far, Seeley has been able to retract two British championship titles. In Germany, Seeley became better known to the public when he announced at the end of 2015 that he would be competing in the British Superbike Championship with the RAF Reserve Team on a BMW .
Seeley is a bachelor and uses the starting number 34. Thanks to his nickname Wee Wizard, which alludes to his driving skills, his mascot is a stylized magician.
