The Alaunbach is a brook in the Lower Austrian town of Krems an der Donau and flows through the Alaun Valley.

It rises in the northwestern part of the Egelsee from two sources close to each other and flows into the Danube . From the Stein district , more precisely from the level of the Stein prison , the stream is channeled underground. The Alaunbach has a length of 4.26 km.
