Albanvale is a suburb of Melbourne and part of the local Brimbank City administrative area . It is located on the western city limits, approx. 19 km from the city center.

Albanvale borders in the south on Kororoit Creek , which was once home to snakes ( tiger otters , eastern brown snakes ), turtles and lizards (including the common blue-tongue skink ). However, due to urbanization, the animals were pushed back.

The Brimbank Central Shopping Center is the largest shopping street in Albanvale and the surrounding districts .
