Albert Legrand "Bobo" Baning (born March 19, 1985 in Douala ) is a Cameroonian football player who has been under contract with the French second division club FC Gueugnon since January 2018 .
Career
Albert "Bobo" Baning began his career in his home country of Cameroon . He was then awarded to Shanghai United and Zhuhai Zhongbang . After spending a rather bad time there, he moved to FC Aarau in the Swiss Super League . Since the 2006/07 season he has played as a central midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 and has a contract until 2010. The transfer fee is estimated between one and three million euros.
Although coach Guy Lacombe insisted on a commitment from Baning, he only used him once. It was then awarded to the CS Sedan in 2007 . There he completed 26 games. It was then immediately awarded, this time to Grenoble Foot 38 . He made his debut on September 20, 2008 in a 0-1 draw against Girondins Bordeaux . He played from the start, but received a yellow card shortly after half-time and was then substituted for Larsen Touré . He scored his first and only goal for Grenoble on December 20 in a 2-1 win over UC Le Mans .
This was followed by his third loan in 2010 with Racing Strasbourg . He played his first game on February 5 in a turbulent 3-3 draw against his former club CS Sedan . The loan ended in June 2010. From July to September 2010 he was loaned to Maccabi Tel Aviv on short notice. Then Baning returned to Paris, but without being used there in the first team. Finally, in the summer of 2012, after his contract in Paris ended, he moved to FC Metz in the French third division. After a brief stint at Slavia Sofia , he has been back in France since 2014 . Via CS Sedan and Racing Club de France , Baning moved to FC Gueugnon in Ligue 2 in January 2018 .
National team
Baning participated in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . In the two games against South Korea and Brazil he was sent off the field.
