Albert Bousser

Albert Bousser (born February 8, 1906 in Alzingen , † May 2, 1995 in Luxembourg ) was a Luxembourg politician of the LSAP .

Life

Bousser studied at the Paris École du génie civil . After his studies, he became Inspecteur divisionnaire technique at the CFL railway company . He was active for the regional association FNCTTFEL from an early age . From 1945 to 1954 he was secretary and from 1954 president of the union; he held this position until 1964.

In 1946 he was elected for the first time as a deputy to the Chamber . He remained a deputy until 1964. From 1950 to 1951 he was on the council operates the City of Luxembourg, and 1952 to 1954 then president of the LSAP.

After moving to the Houwald he was mayor of Hesperange . On July 17, 1964, he became Minister of Construction and Transport .

From 1970 to 1974 he was on the municipal council of Hesperingen and from 1976 to 1979 Schäffen. In 1971 Bousser had joined the Social Democratic Party, which had split off from the LSAP . In 1974 he was re-elected to the Chamber and was a representative of the people until 1979. Albert Bousser died on May 2, 1995.
