Albert Hagen
Albert Hagen (born June 20, 1902 in Zurich ; † October 26, 1962 in Heimenschwand ) was a musician and composer from Switzerland . He played the piano accordion , piano and church organ . His musical focus was on traditional country music and "easy classical". Due to his keen ear for music, he was also called in by bell foundries for tuning bells . The waltz melodies Rosemarie and Verlorenes Glück , composed by him, are known today in the entire Swiss folk music scene. Alois Schilliger was one of his musical companions . The estate of Albert Hagen in 2011 the House of Folk Music in Altdorf UR presented, refurbished, made digitally accessible under sammlung.volksmusik.ch and the State Archives Uri archived.
