Albert Nehm
Albert participants (* 23. February 1932 in Zierenberg , † 14. July 2012 ) was a German politician of the SPD .
Nehm was a wheelwright by trade. He worked for some time in mining in Canada and in the Marie mine in Habichtswald. From 1961 to 1990 Nehm worked in the hardening shop of the Volkswagen plant in Kassel , where he had been a member of the works council since 1972 . He was a member of IG Metall .
Since 1954 Nehm was a member of the SPD, in which he was a member of the board of the local association of his place of residence Kirchbauna . On September 13, 1978, he replaced the deceased Reinhold Staudt in the German Bundestag . In the three following federal elections, Nehm succeeded in winning the direct mandate in the Werra-Meißner constituency , so that he was a member of the German Bundestag from 1978 to 1990 .
