The Albert River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .

geography

The river has its source on the southern slopes of Koruna Peak , which is in the Frankland Range in the southern part of the Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park . It flows on the west side of the mountains to the north-northwest and flows north of the Dohertys Range into the Gordon River .
