Albert Schädlich (born July 11, 1883 in Elsterberg , † June 23, 1933 in Lauter ) was a dialect poet from the western Ore Mountains .

In 1902, at the age of 19, he moved from Vogtland to Lauter in the Ore Mountains, where he found a job and found happiness. As early as 1905, Schädlich married the Gorl seamstress Anna Martha born in Lauter. Laukner and wrote his first dialect poems and probably his first song Nu schie, schie, schie! Until his death he worked in an enamelling factory, most recently as a foreman. A few weeks before his 50th birthday, he died unexpectedly. His most representative work is Der Lauterer Gevatter , as he was called himself. The booklet with songs and dialect stories was only published by the Erzgebirgsverein's Glückauf Verlag after his death in 1934. Some of his songs had previously been published by Arthur Vogel in his art publisher Wilhelm Vogel in Schwarzenberg, and some had previously also been self-published as song postcards. According to Mei Enkele, some songs were published by Hofmeisterverlag with sheet music . and 's Gakellamp'l. in the sheet music book Unnere Haamit! . Albert Schädlich appeared on several occasions alongside Anton Günther , including several broadcasts on the Central German Radio during the Christmas period.
