Albert Strohm

Albert Strohm (born September 19, 1929 in Rummelsberg ; † March 15, 2016 in Passau ) was a German theologian and Protestant pastor.

Life

Strohm was born as the son of the Rummelsberg pastor Wilhelm Strohm. After previous positions as pastor a. a. in Coburg and Buxach , Strohm was Dean of Passau from 1977 to 1994 .

In 1990 Strohm established a partnership between the Passau community and the Budweis community of the Evangelical Church of the Bohemian Brothers.

He also published several historical treatises, some of which were also processed in a fictional manner.

He was the father of the church historian Christoph Strohm and the theologian and regional bishop Heinrich Bedford-Strohm .
