Albert Wiktorowitsch Leschtschow ( Russian Альберт Викторович Лещёв ; born September 27, 1971 in Ischewsk , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player who worked for Atlant Mytishchi , SKA Saint Petersburg and HK CSKA Moscow from 1991 to 2010 played in the Continental Hockey League . Leschchow has worked as an ice hockey coach since the end of his career .

Career

Albert Leschtschow began his career as a hockey player at HK CSKA Moscow , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Vysschaya League , the highest Soviet division, in the 1991/92 season . After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the center played for HK CSKA Moscow in the International Hockey League for four years and in the Russian Super League for another seven years . He also appeared in the 1993/94 season with the Russian Penguins as a visiting team in the North American professional league International Hockey League and scored two goals and three assists in twelve games. From 2003 to 2005, the left shooter played for Chimik Voskressensk in the Superliga and then for three years for their successor team Chimik Moskowskaja Oblast . The team changed their name to Atlant Mytishchi on the occasion of the admission to the newly founded Continental Hockey League for the 2008/09 season . The former Russian national player most recently played in the KHL for SKA Saint Petersburg and his ex-club HK CSKA Moscow in the 2009/10 season , before ending his career at the age of 38.

From 2011 Leschchow acted as a junior coach at Krasnaya Armija Moscow . In 2015 he took over as a trainer for the CSKA farm team, Zvezda-VDW Dmitrov . Most recently, he was assistant coach at HK CSKA Moscow in the 2017/18 season.

International

For Russia , Leschchow 2007 participated in the Euro Hockey Tour . In eight games he prepared four goals.
