Albert Winkler (artist)

Albert Winkler (born July 13, 1955 in Spittal an der Drau ) is an Austrian artist who specializes in digital art .

Life

From 1994 he studied painting in the master class of Wolfgang Hutter at the University of Applied Arts . From 1991 to 2010 he was lecturer at the University of Applied Arts in the master class for graphics and advertising with Walter Lürzer , and from 2010 lecturer in the ideas class, headed by Matthias Spaetgens . He was co-founder and managing director of Vienna Paint , founded in 1988 , the first studio for digital image processing in Austria to work with Paintbox . Since 2015 he has worked as a freelance photographer, graphic artist, animator and digital artist. He dealt centrally with the subject of still life , through the possibilities of digital post-processing he developed an independent design language. He lives in the Irene Valley .
