Albin Neumann

Albin Neumann , stage name: Allan , (born January 10, 1909 in Vienna ; † January 6, 1990 ibid) was an Austrian magician .

Life

Neumann was born as the son of a print shop owner in Vienna, and as a child met the artist LARETTE, who lived in the neighborhood and who dealt with playing cards and handicrafts and had a strong influence on him. He was an amateur artist on the side until he was discovered by a variety agent and became a magician against the wishes of his parents. Allan was internationally successful as a magician and magician on variety stages ; Announcement posters show him blindfolded and showing a playing card labeled ALLAN. THE MAP MIRACLE. or ALLAN. THE MAN WITH THE X-RAY EYES. During the Nazi era, he continued to be involved and was also active on behalf of the Reichstheaterkammer with lectures all over Germany against charlatans, swindlers and as a spiritualist exposer. Even after the war he worked as a hypnosis expert and voluntary reviewer for card games for the Austrian Ministry of the Interior. False spirits, real swindlers. was a radio show designed by him.
