Albrecht Ernst von Thaer
Albrecht Ernst von Thaer (born May 3, 1900 in Wegeleben ; † December 8, 1946 in Erfurt ) was a German administrative lawyer and district administrator of the Oberbarnim district from 1933 to 1945. He died as a result of a gunshot wound in a Soviet prisoner of war .
Albrecht Ernst was the son of Albrecht von Thaer , General Staff Officer and Plenipotentiary of the former King of Saxony Friedrich August III. , and his wife Elisabeth Walther-Weisbeck (1876–1941).
He was married to Annemarie von Lucke (* 1913), daughter of the district administrator and manor owner Philipp von Lucke .
