Albrecht Graf zu Stolberg-Wernigerode (born January 10, 1886 in Kreppelhof , † June 4, 1948 in Cologne ) was a German politician, member of the Reichstag and Bismarck researcher.

His marriage to Magna-Maria Countess zu Solms-Wildenfels (1883–1966) on November 26, 1914 did not result in any children.

Life

Albrecht was born as the 8th child of Count Udo zu Stolberg-Wernigerode and his wife Elisabeth Countess von Arnim-Boitzenburg at Kreppelhof Castle in Silesia . After his father's death in 1910, he became master of Kreppelhof, Dönhofstädt (Rastenburg district) and Udowald. From 1916 to 1918 he was a member of the Prussian manor house and from 1921 to 1928 a member of the Prussian state parliament. He represented the German People's Party from 1928 to 1930 in the Reichstag . After the Second World War he had to leave his possessions in Silesia and East Prussia, which were expropriated. He died in Cologne three years after the end of the war.
