Albrecht Pallas (born February 17, 1980 in Dresden ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and has been a member of the Saxon state parliament since 2014 .

Life

After graduating from high school and training for the intermediate police force, Pallas worked for the Dresden riot police from 2001 to 2006. Pallas then began his studies for the high-level police enforcement service in Rothenburg / OL.After his patrol duty, Pallas worked from 2012 to 2014 in the Dresden Criminal Police Inspection, Kommissariat 11.

Pallas is married, has three children and lives in Dresden-Plauen .

Pallas has been a member of the SPD since 2004. In 2009 he took over the chairmanship of the local SPD association Dresden-Plauen. From 2009 to 2015 Pallas was a member of the SPD parliamentary group in Dresden's city ​​council . In the election to the Saxon state parliament in 2014 , Pallas received 17.3 percent of the vote in constituency 43 (Dresden 3) and was thus defeated by the CDU direct candidate Aline Fiedler . Pallas moved into the state parliament in 7th place on the state list of the SPD Saxony .

Pallas is a member of the Interior Committee, the Constitutional and Legal Committee, the Parliamentary Control Committee and a member of the NSU investigative committee (“Neo-Nazi Terror Networks in Saxony”) . In the SPD parliamentary group, he takes on the role of domestic policy spokesman.
