Aline Fiedler (born July 3, 1976 in Dresden ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Saxon state parliament between 2009 and 2019 .

Life

Fiedler visited the 49th POS Dresden. After graduating from high school in Dresden-Plauen , Fiedler began studying modern and modern history, law and sociology at the Technical University of Dresden in 1995 . After successfully completing this, she worked from 2003 to 2008 as a press and public relations officer in the Saxon State Ministry of Finance and then until 2009 in the Saxon State Ministry of Culture .

Fiedler lives in Dresden.

Fiedler has been a member of the CDU since 1997. From 1999 to 2000 she was chairman of the district association of the Junge Union in Dresden. She was a member of the city council of the Saxon state capital from 1999 to 2009. In the state elections in 2009 , as a direct candidate in the constituency of Dresden 1 , she was able to enter the Saxon state parliament with 33.2% of the votes. In 2014 she was re-elected with 31.7% of the vote in the Dresden constituency 3 . She was a member of the Committee for Science and University, Culture and Media and the Committee for School and Sport. In the 6th legislative period, Fiedler was chairman of the working group for science and universities, culture and media of the CDU parliamentary group and its spokeswoman for science, culture and media. She is a member of the Saxon Cultural Senate and Vice President of the Saxon Music Council .

Since 2011 Fiedler has been deputy district chairwoman of the CDU Dresden.

Before the state elections in 2019 , she announced that she would not seek another mandate and would withdraw from politics.
