Albrecht von Boxberg

Albrecht von Boxberg (born May 4, 1913 in Dresden , † September 12, 1985 in Burgdorf ) was a German officer. In 1945 he was a lieutenant colonel in the Wehrmacht . He retired in the Bundeswehr in 1971 with the rank of colonel .

During the Second World War he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross as Major and Commander of the II. Division of Panzer Regiment 3 on February 7, 1944 . He had already received the German Cross in Gold on February 15, 1941 . In the Federal Republic of Germany he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class.

From 1972 to 1974 he was regional manager of Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe Lower Saxony . He was a legal knight of the Order of St. John.
