Albrecht von Ulmann ( May 26, 1871 in Walk , Livonia , Russian Empire - after 1902 ) was an opera singer ( baritone ).

Life

After completing his training, he turned to the German stage and began his singing career in Rostock in 1896, where he worked for two years, came to Barmen in 1898, to Elberfeld in 1899, to Stettin in 1900 and joined the Association of City Theater in Königsberg in 1901, where he worked as “Friedrich von Telramund” made his debut in Richard Wagner's Lohengrin . Ulmann is a hero baritone and a lot of interest was shown in his expressive achievements. A powerful organ and conciseness in the declamation are characteristic of him, and he also finds tones of beautiful enamel. Some of his best roles include: "Don Juan", "Vampyr", "Heiling", "Rigoletto", "Holländer" and "Wotan". Ulmann was an external member of the Masonic lodge "Minerva to the three palms" in Leipzig.
