Aldo Busi

Aldo Busi (born February 25, 1948 in Montichiari , Province of Brescia ) is an Italian writer and translator , who sometimes also worked under the pseudonym "Monsignor Diabolus".
Life
Busi made his writing debut in 1984 with the novel Seminario sulla gioventù , which was awarded the Premio Mondello . In it he uses a clearly paradoxical and provocative style, which also recurs in subsequent works. From this debut novel, which was also published in German in 1990 under the title Seminar über die Jugend , the choreography of the same name was created in 1994 in collaboration with Enzo Cosimi and the choreography La stanza di Aldo in 1995 .
His novel Sodomie in corpo 11 , published in 1988, was translated into English by Stuart Hood in 1993 under the title Sodomies in Eleven-Point . The German audience was Busi by by Frank Heibert written and 1994 under the title Manual for the perfect gentleman published German-language translation of the novel manuals del perfetto Gentilomo known (1992).
Busi also worked as a translator and wrote, among other things, translations of Friedrich Schiller's Kabale und Liebe under the title Intrigo e amore: un dramma in cinque atti di nobiltà vs. borghesia (1994) and with I dolori del giovane Werther (1995) a translation of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's The Sorrows of Young Werther .
