Aldo Haesler

Aldo Haesler ( Aldo J. Haesler ; * 1954 ) is a French sociologist and essayist of Swiss origin.

He studied economics , law, philosophy and anthropology at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and the University of Strasbourg . This was followed by teaching positions at the universities of St. Gallen, Montréal and Lausanne .

Haesler was president of a private school group in Switzerland from 1995 to 2000. Since 2001 he has been Professor of Sociology at the University of Caen in France.
